STONEHAM, MA - A 19-year-old man drove his car into a home on Montvale Avenue early last Friday morning.
Stoneham Police charged Clifford Forese, 19, of 5 Martin Louis Way in Stoneham with drunk driving and operating to endanger.
Police were called to 44 Montvale Avenue just after 3 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 20. Officers found Forese in his 1995 Mercury Sedan. They found the Mercury in the front porch of Steve and Kelly MacKeen. The MacKeens were not injured.
The police report did not specify, and the MacKeen family could not be reached for comment, but damages to the home were visibly substantial. Forese took a 10 foot by 10 foot chunk out of the first floor.
According to the accident report, Forese was driving at 50-60 mph, travelling east on Montvale Avenue. He lost control of his car, crossed onto the left side of the road, and hit another car. After hitting the other vehicle, Forese's car bounced back across the street, hitting the MacKeens 1995 Dodge Coupe and coming to rest in their home.
Park Street, Stoneham resident Andrew Gobron witnessed the accident up close. His car was hit by Forese. But Gobron was not seriously hurt.
Stoneham Fire Lt. Scott Webber said Forese was transported to Mass General Hospital.
Forese is scheduled for arraignment in Woburn Court.
