Town Committee results are final

STONEHAM, MA - The votes have been tabulated for the Democratic and Republican Town Committee elections held March 7.
The Democrats failed to get their names to the state on time and were not put on the ballot; they all ran as write-in candidates.
The following candidates received five or more write-in votes to become eligible for the Democratic Town Committee: David Adamson, Cosmo Ciccarello, Rocco Ciccarello, John Cullen, Marc Grimaldi, Maureen Houghton, Charles Houghton, Margaret Kimball, Shirley Murray, August Niewenhous, Andrea Pappas, Daniel Pappas, George Seaver, Bob Sweeney, George Tierney and Theresa Ward.
Everyone on the Republican Town Committee ballot is now a member of the committee. The members are as follows: Joanne Anderson, Lawrence Allen, Gordon Perks, Charles Ciano, Salvatore Tecce, Hector Rodriguez-Mundo, Robert Field, III, Kenneth Currie, John Mahoney, Barbara Mahoney, Rosemary Trask, Michael Twohig, Donald Thayer, Jr., Margaret Perks, Frank Cesarele, Michael Rotondi, Francis Mitrano and Paul Melkonian.
The town committees support candidates and ideals of their respective parties and participate in delegate selection at state caucuses.
