Town Meeting voting forum
John DeGeorge of Franklin Street will host a public forum to explain his proposal for a two-phase Town Meeting (Article 31 of the May 7 Town Meeting). The plan calls for discussion of articles in the open meeting and final voting on a separate secret ballot.
The meeting will be in the Hearing Room of Town Hall at 7 p.m. on April 26.
Special Town Meeting
A Special Town Meeting has been called for May 10. The warrant will include an article asking citizens to allow retired police officers to work traffic details and an article asking the town to accept land as a gift dedicated to “open space and recreation.”
