Special motivation

Richie Fortuna of Longbow Road ran the Boston Marathon for his mother Louise.

Louise is battling cancer, and her son raised $2,000 in pledges for Brigham and Women’s Hospital in her name.

“I’m not well enough to be there, but I hope he finishes,” Louise said.

Her first wish came true.
