New waste contractor begins July 1

STONEHAM, MA – Hiltz Waste Disposal, Inc. will be the new waste removal contractor for the Town of Stoneham beginning July 1, 2001. Hiltz is a family owned and operated business with over thirty years of industry experience. Hiltz is a full service waste removal company that has been supplying service throughout the North Shore area of Massachusetts.
Hiltz will be collecting Stoneham’s curbside trash and recycling beginning Monday, July 2, 2001. The Stoneham Public Works Department anticipates a smooth transition.
All new equipment was purchased by Hiltz to service Stoneham. The new trucks are red and white. Residents are asked to take the time to introduce themselves to Hiltz employees and welcome them to Stoneham.
Trash and recycling days will remain the same throughout the town.
