Gutierrez debuts Woodland Road project Web site

STONEHAM, MA- On June 29, the Gutierrez Company of Burlington launched its new Web site for the Stoneham Executive Center project, www.StonehamExecutiveCenter.com. The Stone-ham Executive Center is located in Stoneham at the site of the former Boston Regional Medical Center, which was closed in 1999. The property was purchased by the Gutierrez Company in early 2000. In the 16 months since the purchase, the Gutierrez Company has been working through an extensive public review of project plans for the Stoneham Executive Center.
“It is our company’s policy to develop, build, manage, own and maintain all of our properties,” said Arthur Gutierrez, Jr., Vice President. “We do not seek to sell the buildings, as others sometimes do. We are in this project for the long run, and we are confident that the Stoneham Executive Center will be an extremely positive addition to the area. We have launched the Web site because we believe that sharing information with the community is always important, and second, because we believe that the more people learn about this project, the more that they will support it.”
The Stoneham Executive Center received local approvals from the town of Stoneham in February 2001. The project will be the subject of MEPA review over the next several months, and the Gutierrez Company continues to work with neighbors and neighboring communities to answer questions and respond to any and all concerns regarding potential impacts. The Web site is part of this effort, and includes a comment section that will enable people to ask questions and/or make comments. Other features of the Web site are site plans and other visuals, detailed discussions of the project and its components, information on the development, project benefits and mitigation of such impacts as traffic and drainage, and a chronology of the public outreach and government review of the project to date.
The Gutierrez Company has developed in excess of eight million square feet of office/ R&D and retail space in the suburban Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire markets. The company develops, builds, owns, and manages office parks in various communities in Massachusetts. The company’s current tenant roster includes: Nokia Networks, Nortel Networks, Siemens, Lotus/IBM, Lahey Clinic, AT&T, Teradyne, Emerson Hospital and others.
