STONEHAM, MA - Citizen John DeGeorge of Franklin Street said he has convinced town and school officials that the Robin Hood area drainage article, sponsored by the DPW, should go before the schools request for additional money to finish the elementary school building project on the March 4 Special Town Meeting agenda.
The order makes sense because the specific amount that the schools may include in their motion will be influenced by whether or not the town approves the drainage work near the school.
These are the only two articles on the agenda. The Independent will double-check the order next week in case there are any last minute changes at meetings after press time.
