STONEHAM, MA - An early Sunday morning accident on Spring Street caused by a drunk driver sent three pedestrians to the hospital, one with multiple injuries.
Michael Arminger, 41, of Wichita, Kansas lost control of his vehicle and hit two parked cars in the area of 90 Spring Street at about 1 a.m. Arminger struck the first car and pushed it forward into the three pedestrians as they stood between the two parked cars talking.
The pedestrians injured were Jessica White of Lexington, Grace Montero and Russell Rounbehler, both from Burl-ington. All three were sent to the hospital for observation after complaining of head and back pains. Montero, suffering from multiple injuries, had the most serious injuries of the three, according to Police Chief Greg O'Keefe. Along with the operating under the influence charge, Arminger was also charged with operating in a reckless and dangerous manner.
