Main Street store robbed at gunpoint

STONEHAM, MA - Stoneham Police officials received a report of an armed robbery where a brazen gunman reportedly entered a Main Street Dairy Mart convenience store at approximately 6:26 p.m. early Sunday evening.
According to police reports, the suspect was described as a 24-25 year-old male wearing blue jeans and a dark-hooded sweatshirt with the hood close down around his face to shroud his identity.
The roughly 5-foot-8 suspect threatened the clerk with a gun he was reportedly armed with, and got away with approximately $500 in cash and a plexi-glass case containing $10 Blockbuster lottery scratch tickets.
Stoneham Police are currently investigating the matter, and ask for anyone with any information pertaining to the hold-up to call the Stoneham Police Station at 781-438-1215.
