Bank of America robbed by bucket hat bandit

STONEHAM, MA - A bucket hat-wearing thief stole away with an undisclosed amount of money after robbing the Bank of American on Main Street Tuesday just before lunchtime.
At approximately 11:55 a.m., a man described as a medium complexion, thin build, 5'6" to 5'10" tall, 35 to 38 YOA, white male wearing a white bucket style hat, black rimmed eye glasses, white gauze type wrapping around his left forearm, white t-shirt and blue jeans, entered the bank and approached the teller.
The suspect reportedly passed a demand note to the teller and made reference to a gun in the demand note while demanding all $100 and $50 dollar bills. An undisclosed amount of cash was provided to the subject, and the subject then fled the bank on foot into an unknown direction.
"We have some leads as to who this individual might be, but we're also looking for any information that people can provide to either the Stoneham Police or the local FBI authorities," said Stoneham Police Det. Ed Peek.
