STONEHAM, MA - Fifteen neckties designed by pediatric cancer patients at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston are on sale now to benefit cancer care and research at Dana-Farber through the Jimmy Fund. Seven-year-old Gianna Martiniello is being treated for leukemia at the Jimmy Fund Clinic, the pediatric unit at Dana-Farber. She created a tie with baseballs, basketballs and stars. Her tie, in addition to 14 other designs, is available in several colors at all Marshall’s and TJ Maxx locations throughout New England, plus stores in Chicago, St. Louis, and Dallas. Each necktie costs $12.99, with $1 of every purchase going directly to the life-saving mission of the Jimmy Fund. Organizers expect to raise at least $60,000.
